Sailing along twin headsails and heavily reefed main.
Sunshine, 18 knots wind and 2 metre swell. 6.5 knots. Sweet! 1000 miles
sailed and 1200 to go!! Get those beers in the fridge.
Fishing no longer possible as according to Sabine she
had a monster sized fish on her hook and then bye-bye fishing tackle.
Freezer stocked with meat so no-one going to starve. Everything on
the boat continues to work well. In particular the watermaker
is amazing. Plentiful supplies of fresh water for drinking, cooking,
laundry and showering. No need for a stinky crew. Catch you
tomorrow( more than can be said for the fish). |
