Moored in Basin St Gervais, Rouen: This is a new Marina and the Manager is super helpful even trying to speak English to Michael! With the help of his very patient yard staff the two masts were finally got down and laid across the mast supports that Michael made. It is difficult enough with one mast but to dismount two, Merde. All done in hot sunshine. It took us 1.5 hours in all and 4 cans of Cider. Then about another three hours to tidy up so we didn’t look like a scrap metal barge going up river. I will send a photograph of what we now look like, not pretty, but we can see to navigate. Tomorrow is sightseeing in Rouen and the day after we push on towards Paris.
