So after two weeks of sailing (and a few days ashore) we have made it into Scarlet’s pen in Bandy Creek in Esperance.  Arrived Saturday, 14th November at around 11.30am, after leaving Victory Boat Harbour off Lorraine Island.  Had a peaceful night in this little bay, although the wind was blowing around 20-25 knots most of the night.  Had our last evening meal of whiting (not caught, but purchased in Port Lincoln).

Thanks to Fud & Faye McKenzie and Colin Stewart for helping us secure ‘Scarlet Ribbon’ into her pen and for the use of their car whilst we were in Esperance.

Thanks to everyone for reading the blog of our first (big) trip on Scarlet Ribbon from her previous home in Sandringham, Melbourne to Esperance – a voyage of approximately 1300nm (2407km for those not quite familiar with nautical miles).

Cheers from all the ‘Crew’...............................................
