Position Report - Bald Island

Spent the night in a very rolly anchorage on the north west corner of Bald Island around 40 nm from Albany. Heading out soon for either Augusta or Hamelin Bay for next stop.
Saw a small pod of orcas when we arrived at Bremer Canyon, but they disappeared soon after. Were told by a nearby research vessel that they weren't feeding at the moment so not much action. We only stayed an hour or so, as can't wait around all day - things to do & places to go! Will go past this area on our way back in March, so hopefully more action then......
