Another sunny day mid-Atlantic,
29 degrees in the shade. 1st flying fish on the decks this morning.
Some heavy squalls through the
night up to 32 knots of wind but Viridian takes them in her stride with our
favourite sailplan, no main, reefed genoa poled out to windward and full
staysail.
Now making 7 knots in 16 knots of
wind.
Jan still working wonder in the
galley, excellent meals although her language gets more like Gordon Ramsey's
every day it seems like the Atlantic rollers gang
up on her as soon as she enters the galley.
Suzan (Richards wife) has her
class plotting our progress on the classroom wall.
All good here, looking forward to
our first rum punches within the next week. ( it should be noted that Richard
has still not had a drop of alcohol since we left!) Susan Rainger...yes its
true!
Approaching 2/3
distance.
Love to
all.
