Trip to Isla Partida in the Sea of Cortez: 1/16/2010 – 1/18/2010

  From La Paz to Isla Partida – 1/16/2010

        Dave drove the whole way from La Paz to Ensenada Grande, one of the anchorages at Isla Partida, approximately 6 hours!

        It was like having the Hydrovane already working.

        I nicknamed Dave HydroDave and we are thinking about naming our Hydrovane Dave after, well, no one else but Dave. J

      Upon arrival at Ensenada Grande, after a long day of cruising and buddy boating,

      Chris and Duane invited all 4 of us over to ‘Risk Taker’ for drinks and snacks…

Goodbye drinks at La Panga (the marina restaurant) – 1/24/2010

    We’ve had the great pleasure of meeting Terry and Heidi of ‘Cetus’ during our stay in La Paz.

    Terry and Heidi are accomplished sailors.

    And Terry is a published writer. He wrote ‘Adventures aboard Rick’s Place’, a novel based on his and Heidi's sailing adventures in the South Pacific.
