Bastille is a terrific new addition to the culinary landscape of Ballard and Seattle as a whole. We are delighted to have had the opportunity to discover it shortly after it opened and to visit it a couple times before we set out on our trip. We're also thrilled that Bastille provided a place full of such symbolism for us to meet one last time with our dear Seattle friends in the last days before our departure on a journey that we hope will "revolutionize" our lives. We are touched by the outpouring of kindness and we are keeping close to our hearts the well-wishes we received that night.

We will miss everyone and hope to be able to see as many of you during our journey, either by meeting you if you happen to be anywhere on our course or by having you join us for a leg if you can. We will publish our itinerary shortly.
