Yeehah!! We made it across the big bad Atlantic and are now relaxing in St
Lucia along with a bunch of ARC boats. All in all we had a great crossing
taking 15.5 days which was faster than expected. The boat handled well and
punched above her weight, the crew with Grandad Pete and cousin Dean in tow
were a great asset and the kids handled really well even managing some
schoolwork. It is great to be in the Caribbean knowing we have crossed a big
ocean which augurs well for our trip back to Oz. We are now planning to head
south via the Grenadines en route to Panama and the South Pacific. We have
Grandma Nades on board for a month which is lovely.
Wishing you all a safe and merry Xmas, the Nika crew.
