The past 48 hours have blurred into sleeping, eating or on watch. The passage south west has been a motorsail against southwesterlies.
The crew are still in good spirits.
A decision was made to shelter in advance of the gale forecast for Wednesday 27th. We headed for Arklow on the South East corner of Ireland. The first local we met suggesting that tying up against a hard concrete wall with some burst tyres would be “ just grand” .
We’re rafted on the pontoons and are all lovely and fresh after warm showers.
In true Miii spirt we have sampled local Guiness and bolstered the local economy with SOS purchases in preparation for some fancy dress parties! Cheers all xoxo
