hi a quick photo update, we are a bit behind due to camera issues, however we are now on track and will be updating the blog tomorrow

The sail to faro was fast and sunny, a sail that mum and dad would have enjoyed. Not knowing how easy it would be to get to shore in the faro estuary, and not really being keen on the small dingy, they had opted to sit this leg out and explore more of Vilamoura and the comfort of their apartment. In view of our first evening traumas at anchor I think they made the right decision! We spent a good week at anchor in faro and explored the town and waterways in our little dingy. It was so calm on the water and so quiet at night it was spooky, especially after the stormy nights on the Atlantic coast.

Mum and Dad visited us regularly and we had good walks and lunches around the pretty town, with some interesting graffiti and modern architecture aswell. The trees were all full of oranges and storks were building nests on anything tall. Tan and her friend Chontel arrived on Mum and Dads last weekend and we all had a lovely sunny lunch together, courtesy of Mum, out on the pavement. It was really nice to all be together. Hugs all round.xxx
