Our first blog. Now in our fourth day ate
sea, having left Gib on Friday afternoon. After a slow start through the straits
of Gibraltar we have had fair winds all the way, albeit rather light at
times. We are now just short of halfway to the Canaries, about 80 miles
west of Casablanca. We've only seen one other yacht on the way down so
far, but the Blue Water Rally crowd were assembling in Gib and will be
following.Holden is doing a sensational job on the catering, and we eargerly
await demonstrations of his skill at fishing. We are all very well and enjoying
the sun.
