On the last part of the Biscay crossing now , should arrive at Finnistere
midday today and with luck avoid the gale that has been threatening the last
two days. Made some temporary repairs to the vang and can now control the
height of the boom again. Saw more dolphins and a whale! Alan donned
lifejacket just in case. but it turned out that this whale did not want to
sink us.
Alan has a sore bottom but obviously not sore enough yet to pay for some of
my nappy rash cream. He seems to think that it should be free! Tell that to
the drug companies. I will keep you all informed as to how his infection
develops.
