At last we have wind. Yesterday afternoon we decided to head further west as we were in a no wind situation. After a few hours the wind started to build to a gentle 10knts, enough for us to sail. Overnight the wind stayed constant and as the forecast suggested increased at 0600 this morning. Since then we have had  20-25 knts and Lion King is swiftly taking us south west. The seas are impressive with a swell of around 10ft but with a 15 second gap between them. I have given Paul the day off as he is exhausted. He arrived pretty tired and not well but things have got worse for him. This morning he came to do his watch at 0600 and did not look well. He has not been sleeping well in the aft cabin due to the constant noise from the auto pilot, so he has now moved into Natalies cabin. Don’t worry Natalie has moved into the master suite and she is very pleased to have her electric flush toilet back and personal TV.
So all good here, the sun is getting hotter and the butter is starting to melt and that means we can soon turn right towards Antigua.
Take care all of you and thanks for reading our blog.
