Today we motored from Wando To Charleston harbor. Excellent opportunity to put the old Perkins to the test.
It did just fine.
Some excitement was caused because during the tune-up someone switched the throttle cables.
Imagine you have to take of full power to compensate for the tide and you find yourself going backward full power instead of forward.
Definitely less buggs out here.
Also the marina has drinkable water on tap, so we topped up our reserves.

Yesterday I called National to extend the rental car with one day.
Not a problem they said. Today I found out why... they added an extra 240 USD.
The girl behind the counter felt peckish. I offered to get her a 240 USD sandwich.

We leave at 6AM Friday and must not forget to drop off our customs clearance slips.
Finally we'll get some sailing done.
