We passed the tropic of Capricorn today. We had a Windhoek Larger each to celebrate we have arrived in the tropics. Weather is great, except no wind so we had to motor sail. Sharon sent us chasing after 2 buoys she spotted. Our mouths were watering at the thought of a nice tuna attached to it, but unfortunately there were no fishing lines attached, so no fish. Our lines have not been any help either, maybe tomorrow. Swell 1M, Wind SSE 3, Log 873Nm Bar 1016

We’ve been at sea a week today, can’t believe time has gone by so quickly. There is not a breath of wind today, so our second half of our journey to St. Helena might take longer than the first. The sea is a glass pond. Water temp is now 23 degrees, air temp 31degrees I feel a swim is coming soon.  A squid greeted Jackson on deck this morning during his shift, have no idea how it got on board. We are desperate for some fish, so we’ll be using it as bait. Swell – Swimming Pool on Sunny Day, Wind SSE 2 – None, Log 1011Nm Bar 1014
