A good day today, 160 NM covered towards the WP in the Azores.

Winds were a little light in the early hours but backed a little and picked up not long after first light.  We have spent all day under full sail on a close reach with about 12 – 15 Knots of wind.  The sun has been shining and the sea state is slight so a great day sailing.

The repair to the main is holding.

Main highlight of the day has been the chocolate brownies from “Mum” and sightings of Box Jelly fish, Flipper has put in one short appearance and a large tanker has just passed 3 – 4 miles north of us heading West.

We are well in to our watch routine and hope to report good sun sights tomorrow.

No MIB today, will see what tomorrow brings!
