The day before

Tomorrow at 14:00 we start the race back from the Azores to the UK. We enjoyed our stay in Ponta Delgada. The past days we gave the boat a lot of love and care, so we hope she'll take care of us for the next 12 days. The to do list is checked off, and we just bought up the full stock of one of the small supermarkets ;-)

The weather situation is a bit difficult. Tomorrow the wind will be very light, the race committee might have to postpone the start with 24 hours. Afterwards conditions might become rough, so we need to carefully route around the worst weather systems. We'll go for a good result, but you need to finish before you can win...

We'll try to post some updates during the race, weather permitting of course. For photos and videos you'll need to wait for our return, as our satellite communications system does not offer appropriate bandwidth.
