Msimbati, Tanzania. We finally reached E. Africa after another storming reach, sustaining speeds in excess of 11 knots in a heavy sea – not very relaxing, but we’ve now checked into Tanzania and have spent a few hours in the traditional village straggling along the shore. No electricity and a single well serving not just the village but the off lying islands. It’s a tranquil and beautiful scene.
