Just left Port Sudan after a 3-night stop over for refuelling, repairs and recreation. A large dusty town that grew on us (in spite of the crooked shipping agent who ripped us off ). Were now really in Africa, with a colourful mix of tribes and dress and a general feeling of haphazardness. Were heading out to sea to avoid the reefs before heading South for Massawa in Eritrea currently reaching at nearly 9 knots in a 18knot northerly wind. Its getting dark with some threatening clouds to our South.
