Hi all, Have been here in Mohammedia (15 miles
North of Casablanca since Friday). Just letting some unwelcome weather pass by.
We hope to resume progress South tomorrow morning.
Morocco has been something new to
someone who has not been to Africa before. Generally friendly locals, a lot of
distressed buildings+ street landscape but to me the dominating sensation is
that of smell. Everywhere smells, spices, fish and other foods (especially in
the Kasbah), plants trees and some horrible indeterminate pongs, and of course
we are not allowed to forget the petroleum depot and related industries here in
the port area.
