Having filled up with diesel at £0.58/litre we left Krestovski on Saturday morning 19 July and motored to Fort Konstatin to check out. Unfortunately, we arrived at lunch time but the process only too 45 minutes once the officials returned from lunch. The return passage was uneventful, motoring most of the way but with a little downwind motor-sailing. We arrived at Haapasaari at 0330 Finnish time and waited at the customs dock until they started work at 0800. Clearance was straightforward and we then anchored in the main anchorage and did very little for the rest of the day, it being very hot and windless.
