A big thank you from all on Weohgi for the help we have received from the ARC staff and to all the local people who made our stay memorable and enjoyable. We visited both Santo Anteo and Santo Vincent and wish the islanders well for their future.
We crossed the start line at 13.03 with a good wind and nearly all the fleet. A fantastic site and we were pleased and proud to be there. We were sailing well until about 4pm when we got caught in the "No wind" zone at the end on Santo Anteo! We luffed up and were listening on Ch72 to all those who were with us wondering what to do asking those who were managing to sail saying how great the wind was! We eventually extricated our self by 7pm and the wind have been good since.
