We have had an interesting time here on Cape Verde. We have been on 2 bus excursions around 2 of the islands. Capo Vincente and Santo Antao. All the islands are volcanic, Santo Antao is much nicer, parts are very similar to Madeira, lush and verdant. There is a lot of poverty and unemployment. We came 12th in our division so did not win any prizes! We are re victualed and ready to go tomorrow on the nest part of the adventure!
