I guess it's over to me to quickly summarise how we got on. Greenland was warmer and in the main there was less sea ice; no shortage of bergs though. However two of the areas that we were keen to visit remained blocked. As usual we had nice weather as expected from the high pressure system although during the first phase it was quite overcast. Fog is always a possibility and confidence in the radar is a great asset.

In total Umiak sailed 3300nm of which about 1000nm were in uncharted waters. Not only are there no soundings but in the main the GPS position is more accurate than the surveys which means that the yacht's position and the coastline do not always correlate. In fact according to the Navionics charts we were anchored ashore most nights!  We ran aground a few times but nothing serious, just gentle touches to sand.

This was the trip for wonderful anchorages. We found 15 new ones nearly all stunning. I've written them up for the pilot so hopefully some one else can sample them.

Mountain wise we climbed 10 decent peaks of which I would expect 8  were unclimbed, possibly the other two although they were near Kulusuk. We also had several mountain walks. As well as there being less sea ice there was also less snow and consequently the skis didn't get an outing. We did climb some mixed routes though and two had plenty of snow to plod through. As always when climbing unknown routes there is a chance of not summiting and we had one where it was considered too loose and unwise but otherwise we found a way.

You will have read about the team already. They were all great. We had no injuries and to the best of my knowledge everyone is still speaking! A big thank you to them all for playing along. I almost forgot we caught more fish than we climbed mountains!
