Day 3: At ease on Rathlin Island. Well what a lovely spot this is, of course helped by the glorious sunshine. We planned to spend the day here and travelled out to the RSPB reserve on the west coast to see Puffins, Kittiwake, Razorbills and thousands of Guillemots.

The shots are a bit fuzzy as they are my iPhone pressed up against the binoculars.

Then a lovely 8km walk back to the harbour watching buzzards and spotting orchids in the heathland.

Had a look at the troublesome water pump, found no real issues but gave the jubilee clips yet another tighten and replaced the gasket sealing the pump face. Engine Ok for now let’s hope it holds. eXehibitionist
