Hi to all the boys
and girls at Ladybarn house school Granddad Cheetham here (the grandfather of
Rory and Fraser). I am 66 years old however I'm not the oldest member of the
crew. Tom is the oldest, he is 72 years old. Tom plays the guitar and the
bagpipes.
Here's a photograph
of Tom and I learning French - even us oldies go to school
occasionally.

The boat is going
well and all the crew are getting on well with no fall-outs or fights.
We had a sing-song
this morning singing some good old sea shanties. Sea Shanties were sang by
sailors on big windjammers in the olden days while performing a task like;
hauling a rope. The rhythm of the song kept the crew in time with each
other.
Last night 3 flying
fish landed on the boat. Flying fish have little wings and fly out of the water
to escape predators. They can fly in excess of 100 metres.
I hope that you are
charting our course and progress in your schoolrooms.
If you have any
questions you'd like to ask the crew please email us at nowcrew {CHANGE TO AT} mailasail {DOT} com
we believe you sent
something last week, however unfortunately it didn't get through. Remember just
text no attachments.
Looking forward to
seeing Fraser and Rory in the Caribbean for the rest of our
journey.
