Miles and Fiona left the boat after a good few days seeing the sights in Porto. Nigel and Fiona arrive for the next few legs.

An early start at 7.00am for the 80nm to Figuera da Foz. For the first few hours there was little wind so the whole fleet motor sailed. Just after noon the Parasailor was hoisted but the halyard was attached the the neoprene cover rather than the webbing at the head of the sail - it came down into the sea. I don’t know how it did not go under the boat but Nogel and I managed to pull it back on deck. White sails back up. We finished the leg at 17.36 and by 18.15 were tied up in the marina - needed a drink!
