As I write this we are hammering along at over 8.5
knots under spinnaker. The wind is now steady in the North, if we can just
keep charging the batterries enough we are beginning to see how we might make it
to Agadir.
Slowly but not always reliably the weather is
getting hotter and at the moment it is bright and sunny with a big sea down
which we are surfing. Yesterday we caught our first fish about 3.5 lb
Tunaesque and fantastic eating so a victory for persistence and lost fishing
gear.
If we can keep going at this sort of rate we should
clear the bottom of Portugal tomorrow.
