Saturday 19th May
We got a taxi into Concarneau to look around the lovely old walled city,
Le Close, and look at the nearly empty marina.
Sunday 20th May
Sunshine and a gentle wind meant a perfect opportunity to visit the Iles
de Glenan. After some tricky motoring through narrow, unmarked channels
between the rocks we found a spot to anchor, and blew up the canoe. we
paddled around two of the islands, one with a sandy beach looked as busy
as East Head on a summer weekend! Lots of Herring gulls were nesting
among the rocks.
