Malua is at 36:09.43N 05:21.83W at La Linea Spain on 8/9/2012

We left the marina at Estapona soon after breakfast for the short trip to Gibraltar.  The AIS was working overtime with 144 ships within a 12 nm range.  As we approached Gibraltar rock the alarm was going off so frequently that I switched it off.  We turned the corner and headed for the marina at the end of the runway and called ch 71 to request a berth.  Sorry we are full because of the bank holiday weekend.  Why a marina is full on those days I do not know but my principle of not being in a marina on a Sunday because the town is closed came good so we just turned round and crossed back into Spain and went to La Linea and dropped anchor outside their marina.  In a few days we will entre and stay a while.
