First day out!

I thought i'd add my 2 cents to all this internet
wizardry. so after the fast pace of the preperation week with asorted briefings,
saftey checks, talks and maintenance. Followed by the almost frantic
pace of the start line activities and party atmosphere of les palmas on the last
day. I'm extactic to say we're on our way at last!!
I for one felt like a 5 year old
before christmas yesterday but after all the activity yesterday, with sail
changes odd rigging set ups and the like we have now settled into a nice
routine with all the watches set up properly and everything getting done as
it should and mostly on time, I don't think there could have been a better
start!!
I hope all are well at
home.
hopefully i'll write something more interesting in
the near future.
