Passage to Antigua.

We left at about 13.30 and tacked up towards Anguilla, the wind was still more easterly than we wanted but it was due to go NE, not far from the coast we tacked back towards the top of St Martin, we just got past the most NE headland with the help of the engine for 10minutes to save us tacking twice more😂. From there the wind was fickle at times especially shifting from NE to North or East with each cloud that went over us, sometimes dropping in strength and sometimes increasing, we were glad in the night it settled for a while and we both managed to get some sleep, as we got closer to Antigua the cruise ship activity increased with 3 heading for St John’s and close to our route 🙄. By 07.15 we were anchored in Jolly Harbour, quite pleased to have sailed the trip.
