Hello hello all you peoples on stable relatively dry land. Hope you are all
well and enjoying a nice relaxing weekend. Our little world out here on
IDEA got a little bumpy last night. Our breeze picked up to just short of
20 knots. With a wind angle at about 50 degrees from the bow of the boat
(for all you nonsailors) and the seas about 8 - 10 feet from about the same
angle IDEA is riding up the swell and pounding down the back side sending
water over the decks and spray into the air. We're all a little damp and
very salty. The boat itself is like a salt farm. Anyone fancy some
atlantic sea salt for your dinner tables. We're going to start a side
business exporting it.
There's very little else to tell out here at the moment. Since we've left
Barabos we've seen on other boat, a few birds and had a passing pod of
dolphin, but they didn't stay and play like they do very often. It's just
us and the sea and the sky and our tunes.
Once again we hope you've all had a nice weekend.
