Beyond the Saddle ....Cairo to Cape Town

Position: 09:43.918N 38:48.946E

Right at the village of Debre Libanos.....right on the rim of an impressive
canyon of a tributart of the Blue Nile.

Cycled 94km today...made a new elevation high....3080m....and whjat a climb
to get there...then stayed on this beautiful plateau for about 40km before
having a slow descent to the village where the campsite is.

A great ride in all aspects...but definitely felt the shortage of oxygen
today.

Lots to do here, and some great local wild life viewings.....more in the
next newsletter.....
