We are still tacking towards the island and should be finished today.  Every now and again the haze clears and we can see the east end of San Miguel.

 

We still have not seen another boat!  Where is everybody?  I would have expected to see quite a few fellow competitors as we all converge to the same point.  No doubt we will have the answer this evening.

 

A whale just crossed our path about 100 metres ahead of us.  So far we have seen: one turtle, one whale, a few whale spouts, a few sharks, and loads of dolphins.
