What a difference a day makes - Sunday 8th January
22:36.52N 60:8.13 We were all a little tired after the adventurous of the day before. a lovely sunny day with a calm sea and light winds. lovely sunrise with a picture taken by jake. We continued to motor sail - one extreme to another It enabled us to do some jobs and check the boat over and clean her up some Dolphins came to visit from 13.30 onwards. Late afternoon early evening we had to transit the shipping lanes to avoid the TSS (trafic separation Scheme) We passed an interesting jack up rig being towed by 2 tugs. We have not seen much plastic other than 1 plastic bottle and a small plastic container. We ended the watch with happy hour a beer for the boys and glass of wine got Katy and Clare. Night watches had an uneventful time motor sailing passed the TSS. Team Diablo Sent from my iPad |
