Mallorca
Blue Sky's Voyage

Dear Friends
Not very much sailing has been achieved in
the last week. We took the girls on a daytrip to Cala Figuera, just W of Cape
Formentor - the NE tip of Mallorca. After that there was quite a bit of strong
wind and rain - which had the benefit of a free deckwash and, as the rain was so
heavy & prolonged, it gave the lines on the deck a good freshwater
rinse.
Sue B joined us on Wednesday and can be seen
here having a (not very successful) rowing lesson.
Puerto Pollensa was a great anchorage though
- well protected, good holding and loads of space, so we slept through another
gale on Thursday night quite happily.
We're now on the way (clockwise round the
island) to Palma to leave Blue Sky in the care of Ben whilst we go back to the
UK for the weekend on family business. So there won't be much to report
next week, so we'll do another blog around the end of the month.
Blue Sky in Puerto
Pollensa
Best Wishes
George and Michael
