The lady Ariana is delighted to announce the
successful delivery of 2 new Yachtmaster Offshore newbies, Phil and Andreas
(Herr Yatmeister). The bouncing boys will be coming home today, leaving the 3rd
hopeful, Claus, in the scary hands of the Examiner, and expecting large amounts
of sympathy, attention and general pampering back in Kuwait.
Before finishing this blog and leaving what we know
will be a huge gap in all of your lives, just a couple of interesting facts
which got missed on our journey....
1. We only did our first tack after 840
miles!
2. When Andreas couldn't sleep for 3 days, his only
solution was to hug his kit bag and pretend it was Ladan. (Better get those
canvas pyjamas ready, hun!)
3. Phil wore the same pair of underpants for 5
days! (Well, I did turn them inside-out after
3)
We've had enough now.
