Hi fans,
we finally got the ship up and running and after a
36 Hr Passage we arrived safely in Camaret Sur Mer (that is France). Phil was
Captain and got us to France safely. He will post a full account of the trip.
All I can say is that I will have a serious word with the owner of the company
that did the repairs and upgrades. I spent hours with Claus under deck fixing
problems with the electronics. We had no Autopilot, Speed or depth reading and
the GPS was cutting out at times as well. Oh and the laptop was not charging and
the email connection not working. The dream team here worked trough all the
problems, while we are heading for Spain the 6th crewmember (Mr
Autopilot) is doing his job. We formally invite proposals to name the
autopilot.
