Hello to one and all. For those that have been attempting to follow our blog, you will have noticed that we’ve been having problems with the technology… But we’ve been getting odd reports that it has been working sporadically. So, with fingers crossed, here’s a brief resume of where we are at. We left the delightful Cape Verde Islands on Thursday last on our Atlantic leg. Later today we will pass the half-way point on our way to Grenada (1130 out of 2260 Nms).

With light winds forecast before we set off, we decided to head south-west where predictions were more favourable. Sure enough we found it after three days, turned due west and last 4 days have been a breeze! That said, forecasts for the next few days suggest winds will lessen. We’ll see. At time of writing, we are anticipating arrival in Grenada on Thursday next, 12 December. It would be fair to say that there has been the odd conversation about the first rum punch… J

More as it happens.
