Good morning!
We are currently just north of the island after a generally very light and shifty day yesterday. Lots of sunshine and time to get used to the position updates etc we set up in Ponta Delgada though.
Last night was largely more of the same but with loads of dolphins, purple jellyfish and a very bright full moon. So bright that it was sparkling off the waves.
Everything on board seems to be going ok, dad and I both did some sleeping outside last night which was nice.
Just hoping for a bit more wind today so we can get away from the island which might block any southerly breeze that comes in. It will be interesting to see how it pans out with the boats that decided to go east round the island.
Time to put some more sun cream on now and have some breakfast.
