A very frustrating 24 hours, with the wind dying away to nothing yesterday evening, and so we have been motoring at slow revs for the past 24 hours. We went through a short but heavy rain storm and then managed a short sail in NE'ly force 2/3. Three hours later and now the engine is back on! We have finally managed to receive a weather forecast after much frustration, and we are now motor sailing NE towards the wind. We should pick up a NW'ly later tonight or early in the morning, so fingers crossed.
