Mainsail and engine oil and Langkawi

Last night was a squally time. We are keeping watches both in the wheelhouse
and on the top deck looking for ships and pirates. Ted was on deck getting
very wet when we heard a large bang and the whole mainsail came toppling
down on top of him. Lets just he was surprised a wee tad.
Our oil supply is dwindling as we are having problems with our engine. She
is not firing on all cylinders, like some of our crew really. This is
causing a huge loss of oil and we have to top it with 20 litres every 12
hours.
Theoretically we will have enough, but the next leg I am not so sure about.
So far we have used 205 litters. So a bit of engineering is due and then we
hopefully will have some answers.
Well we are due to arrive in Langkawi tomorrow afternoon. That is Monday
29th May 2006.
