Suez Canal

Sorry for the delay in a blog. We have been busy.
We went through the Suez Canal a few days ago.
After the run up the Red Sea that was much easier on the weather than I
expected, we arrived in Suez.
My 4th Suez trip, and hopefully my last, but I keep saying that.
Suez and the canal is the most horrible filthy place to go. If Egypt did not
have a canal or pyramids, no one would ever go there. It is a dump and I
don't care what any Rad Head lover says. You can keep it.
The canal transit went the smoothest I have had, so I didn't have a mental
breakdown. The bribe and costs have doubled since the last time 7 years ago.
It is really criminal what they put you through. We had it pretty well
organised so they could steel anything this time. We had the agent onboard
full time for 2 days and all dealings went through him, hence my lower
stress levels.
The only good thing about the Red Sea is the diving and we stopped 3 times
from 3 to 7 hours for a swim and dive. That was good. I went onboard an old
fishing boat and traded a huge tuna for some beer and cigs and fill their
fresh water tank.

Ships, boy did we see ships. Good to have the company and they are getting
very big.

We are now halfway to Malta, but don't know if we are stopping there at all.
Hopefully find out before we get there. The furniture that we are supposed
to pick up there hasn't arrived from Bali yet.

Ok, we hope you are all well.
