Had a busy couple of days. A few problems , first the laptop crashed and we had no comms . Luckily we have a back up laptop which I am using ow. Next we broke the stainless steel bowsprit for the cruising chute. I guess we had it riged wrong as it folded up like a drinking straw. we think we can get round this by using the stock of the anchor to fix the tack of the chute down but we will wait for very light winds before ww try this.
Today we just had a shroud break at he top of the mast. Luckily we carry spare fittings so it was just a three hour trek to the mast top for the skipper ( Me of course , I couldn't send anyone else up a 65feet swaying mast in the middle of the atlantic could I ?) All now fixed and we are happily sailing again.

Loads of flying fish about and a few landed on the deck overnight. I have taken photos which I will poat later.
One of the guys has decided to bake a cake today - hpe it turns out ok as he is putting alot of effort in to it.

We have about 2300 miles still to go and the wind has been lighter todsay so we have made a bit les progress than planned.
All this reads a bit sad but actualy we are all happy and just getting on with the sailing as usual.
