Still heading West although the wind has dropped
somewhat .
Friday we hit 17.8knts surfing down the front of a
wave although the average was just over 10.
It appears we've caught up with the other boats by
at least 40 miles but there are obviously different tactics as we stay south and
they stay North.
Juno appears to be unstoppable and thus we're
trying for second place.
Lost the lt wt kite on Thursday pm and yesterday
changed to the heavy wt as there was a small hole in the medium wt.
This am we're back to medium wt having taped it up
and a somewhat hairy kite peel last night.
Seven days gone and 4 approx to go!!
