Very good progress the past day 😊

Managed to sail till about 0700 this morning which was nice as the sea was flat and we had steady 12-16kn wind yesterday afternoon & last night.

Been motoring this morning as conditions flattened out and currently motor sailing with a nice 6-8kn breeze.

A few scattered clouds in the sky today and the sea is calm, conditions are forecast to be favourable going through Gibraltar which is good news.  

Whales, turtles where spotted.

A few squid were even found on deck this morning!

We are currently about 70 Nm from the start of the Gibraltar straights – Progress has been good – Traffic all around as we approach the straights and lots of VHF chatter,  the different accents give us a chuckle now and then.

Not too far away from cell phone reception, everyone is well and looking forward to the Mediterranean Sea again.
