23.5 hours in!

After a dreadfully disappointing start (we were square last across the line because we had to dash back to port to get our GPS changed and we left the port at 12:55) we very quickly waved to all our competitors as we pottered by them sipping Pimms and Champagne ;-) Not really, but we have made huge inroads into the fleet and everyone is happy and relaxed. We took a bit of a gamble and stuck to the African coast and it appears to have paid off so far.

Its a long long way to go yet and I think the transat crossing record is slipping beyond our reach, but its good having goals!

Spag bol for dinner last night, pretty good even if I say so myself, tonight, Thai Green curry I think,

Wishing for more wind and love to all from all aboard
