We are clipping along between 7-8 knots on average catching up to the fleet and picking off boats as we can.  Big rollers but solid wind all the way.  Went shrimping with the spin last night but saved it.  Quite the challenge at 9 knots.  Wind was building quick.  Had 2 big fish on the line today but couldn't slow the boat down quick enough to get them in.  Our food is amazing and the weather is great. We may not be the fastest but we are not going without.  435 miles to go to Cape Verde.
