Tekay Deset
We stayed three nights in all near Mersa
Dudo, climbing hte extinct volcano while we were
there.
Today moved on a little further South to Tekay
Deset.
Tekay Deset is just under 100 miles from the straights at the bottom of the
Red Sea and just under 200 miles from our next major port of Aden, in
Yemen.
Its very hot and humid and the North winds we expect at this time of year
are muted at best, so we are flogging the diesel donkey more than we would
like.
On the plus side, the fishing is just amazing and we had lovely berbecued
Red Sea mackerel on Fat Annie last night.
